Target’s coupon policy has recently been updated. This is really great news! The policy has been updated to address the question, can I use a dollar off Target coupon with a “total purchase” Target coupon? The answer is yes! For example, we have a coupon for $1 off Gerber apparel (Target Mobile baby coupon), you can also stack it with the $3 off $15 baby & infant apparel (found on baby registries printed at the kiosk).

Here’s what the Target policy states:

What should I keep in mind if I want to redeem a category/department or storewide coupon?

If you’re redeeming more than one category/department or storewide coupon, you must meet purchase requirements for each coupon individually. The percent-off coupons will apply to all qualifying items in transaction. No other same category/department or storewide coupon will apply.

Target item-level coupons can be used while using a category/storewide coupon (e.g. $1 off Target coupon for body wash AND a $5 off $15 Target Personal Care purchase). The threshold for the category coupon is based on the retail of the qualified items prior to Manufacturer item-level and Target item-level coupons.

Here’s a scenario valid thru 4/22/15:

Buy 1 Gerber 5 pack, $10.99
Buy 1 Gerber 3 pack mittens, $4.99
-use $1/1 Gerber Baby Clothes Mobile (Text “BABY” to 827438)
-and use $3 off $15 Baby Registry
-use your own bag ($0.05)
-use Target REDcard ($0.60)
= $11.33 OOP
