        least five U.S. dollars ($5), excluding tax, tip, and any amount used to
        purchase gift cards.

  2. You buy the giftcard to spend at Starbucks and that’s the reciept you submit. Your spending the $5 gc not actual money so that’s how you end up with an extra $2.
