Starting tomorrow, Kroger will have a new promotion on fuel points: Get 4x fuel points when you buy select Gift Cards including EBay, Amazon, iTunes, Amazon, JCPenney, Best Buy and more! You can get 1000 points and redeem ton save $1 per gallon of gas! If you get more than 1000 points, you can continue to use the points on your next gas purchase (100 points / $0.10 off and up).
Whenever Kroger has this promotion, I make sure to stock up on gift cards, as presents for others or better yet, I buy them for stores I plan to or always shop at! For example, I always shop at Target, so I know the money I spend on the Gift Card is already money I would spend shopping there anyway! With that in mind, I can purchase a $250 Target Gift Card, scan my Kroger Rewards card at checkout and get 4x points or 1000 points instead of the usual 250 points!
1000 points = $1 off per gallon of gas!
If you don’t want to spend $250 on just one card or in one day, you can spread out your purchases for the next two weeks. Your points will continue to track (they reset at the end of the month) and the 4x promotion is valid for 2 weeks!
