How to earn SB points
There are so many ways to earn SB points. The points can be as little as 1 point to 5000+ points or even more, it all depends on what actionable item you complete. Here are just a few examples of how to earn SB points:
- Use the Search Bar to search for anything on the Internet from the “SEARCH” tab
- Shop thru Swagbucks similarly to how you would shop thru a “cashback portal” from the “SHOP” tab
- Complete special offers, free trials or signup for a new service/product from the “DISCOVER” tab
- Invite your Friends once you’ve signed up. You’ll earn 10% of what they earn!
- Download the Swagbucks mobile app and watch videos
- Install the SwagButton to get even more opportunities to earn SB points

How to redeem your SB points
- To redeem your SB, click on the icon of your picture at the top right from a computer
- Click the “Redeem SB” link from the drop down menu to go to the Rewards Store
- Browse for the Gift Card or reward that you want and click on the green “Snag This” button.
Occasionally, Swagbucks will send personalized offers to your email. For example, a few months ago, I received an offer to donate money to The National Conservancy. I could donate $25 and receive 2,500 SB (roughly equal to a $25 Gift Card when you redeem the points)! Essentially, making the donation FREE! Wow, who wouldn’t want to donate to a great cause AND keep the money in their pocket? If you’re already going to “spend” $25 at Target, Amazon or whichever store you shop at, then this is a NO-brainer.
I was able to make my donation through their special email link, and received the 2,500 SB points right away. In turn, I redeemed my SB and got a $25 Visa Gift Card. Each month, the first $25 Gift Card you redeem for is 2,200 SB (except for PayPal and Gas Cards) so I still had 300 SB left in my account! I was able to make a donation and receive the Gift Card all in the same week!
