Rejoice! Target has finally jumped on the Digital Manufacturer Coupons bandwagon – you can now clip manufacturer coupons from their Cartwheel app and use them in-stores! No more cutting coupons, no more printing and wasting ink, simply clip the coupon and show your Cartwheel barcode at checkout to redeem the coupon!

We are extremely excited about this new update and feel it’s a step into the right direction for Target. Many stores including Kroger, Kmart, Meijer and RiteAid have had digital coupons available for use for many years. This feature provides convenience and added savings opportunities for customers who are not accustomed to carrying around or using paper coupons or for individuals (like me) who often forget their coupons at home!

In additional to using these digital manufacturer coupons, you can also continue to use the Cartwheel Percentage (%) off coupons, mobile Target coupons and Target printable store coupons! Plus, you can save 5% on everything you buy when you signup for the Target REDcard. Click here to signup for a free Target REDcard Debit Card.

A few things you’ll want to know about the Target Digital Manufacturer Coupons available on the Cartwheel app:

  • The coupons are single-use so you can only redeem the coupon once per purchase.
  • You can continue to use same “like” paper coupons with the digital manufacturer coupon as long as you purchase the correct amount of items required (Example: If the coupon is $1 off 1 item, you can use the paper and digital version when you buy two items).
  • Currently, there is no way to search for just the single-use digital manufacturer coupons on the Cartwheel app. They appear to be mixed in with the percentage offers. The best way to find them right now is to “sort” your offers by “newest” first.
