Amazon Add-on Items are usually priced very low, but snagging a deal on them comes with a catch: You have to have $25 in your cart (including the Add-on item) in order to actually check out and pay for your item. The add-on items ship along with other bigger ticket items to help Amazon save on shipping costs.

You might find small things like hair clips, pens, bandages and paper that are priced for under $5 but they won’t ship unless you spend $25. There’s actually a loophole that allows you to spend less than $25 to get your Add-on items to ship at Amazon!

Here’s how it works:

  1. Click here to signup for a Free 30-day Trial of Amazon Prime
Existing users can skip this first step
  2. Choose an add-on item and add it to your cart
  3. Then add a preorder item to your cart, like this Wonder Woman movie for $24.99 that will be release sometime in September
  4. Now your total should be over $25 and you can place your order!

Here’s an important note: Amazon doesn’t charge your payment card until your order ships. Your add-on item will ship within 2 days if you have Amazon Prime, and you’ll be charged for the add-on item.

The Preorder item won’t be charged to your card until it actually ships! If you want to, you could technically cancel the Preorder item any time before it ships to avoid being charged 🙂
